sword stuck in ground within a castle
  • Hair: Gray & Wavy
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Style: Swordsman, bow and arrow
  • Occupation: Heart Guard resource manager
  • Personality: Introverted, reserved, cautious

Acacius, the long time friend of Melek, is educated on all castle affairs, diplomacy, and the meetinghouse. He serves as the resource manager for Heart Guard. Nothing comes in or goes out of the gates unless first registered at Acacius’ shop. He lives alone in the lower level of Heart Guard. At one time a spry and outgoing man, Acacius now prefers to be left alone and is somewhat an inward recluse, due to the devastating loss of his family all those years ago.

Originally born in Photaas—nestled in the northeastern region of Kassander—Acacius was once married with a family. His beautiful wife had dark springy hair that hung over her shoulders, and blue eyes. She was the love of his life. After they married, they settled in a little town just outside Photaas. A town known for its charm, books, and art. Acacius served, not to much surprise, as the town resources manager.

Difficult to imagine now, Acacius had many friends. He and his wife held regular gatherings in their home to celebrate life, love, and the joy they found in serving the common good. Some of his closest allies were town leaders and responsible for much trade between the various cities. Unfortunately, some of those same allies proved just how treacherous the wicked can be. Sadly, the rest of this tale will have to wait until Book 2.
