Joshua is just another dad living the dream in North Carolina, striving to love God, his wife and children. With a Masters in Christian ministry, he maintains consistent professional wordiness & storytelling from numerous academic papers he has written. Occasionally, he attempts to keep his brain juice from leaking out from the countless books he has read. With a strong background in tech, he spent 5 years in the vocational ministry serving people in various ways, but now continues to stretch his tech muscles working for a 30-year-and-counting leading American Networking company.

In his free time (as if anyone has any of that), he enjoys shooting paintball guns, snowball fights with the kids, watching movies, reading good books, and cardio. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, The Wild Robot, and Sketch are some of his favorite movies. Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Animal Farm, Brave New World, The Lord of the Flies, 1984, and many more are some of his favorite books. Currently, he is set to release his debut fantasy novel in late Summer or Autumn, titled The Indwelling Darkness: Love, Bloodshed, & the Fall, with books 2 and 3 underway. The Indwelling Darkness: Love, Bloodshed, & the Fall

Erramuun wakes, petrified by a nightmare: a dark figure, a burning sky, and the name Rayne on his lips. When he ignores the elders and enters the Forbidden Place to rescue a girl with gold-lit eyes, he and Rayne trigger a chain of raids, visions, and whispers that the Tyrant may be stirring again. As Heart Guard slides toward ruin, Erramuun is anointed king and thrust into a diplomatic journey meant to secure allies—only to find Thearekt and Zahav shrouded by sickness, beasts, and betrayals that look too familiar.

Now Erramuun must overcome his emotions, self-doubt, trust unlikely companions, and decide what leadership costs when loyalty fractures at the edges. With each vision, the stakes tighten: rescue the ones he loves and decipher the old prophecies before darkness swallows the kingdom of Kassander—or watch his cradle of light burn to the ground. Fast-paced and rich with myth, The Indwelling Darkness follows a reluctant heir who must become a leader the hard way.
